What’s Call of Dragons about?

You might have heard about Lilith Games, but if not it’s a Chinese game development company know for some mobile games such as Art of Conquest, Farlight 84, Warpath, Rise of Kingdoms, AFK Arena, Abi and a few more. Personally I’ve only played their Art of Conquest game, but I’ve seen others are popular as well. They have over 100 million active players so they’re quite big.

They’ve released now a new MMO game called Call of Dragons, for iOS, Android and Windows. The game was in pre-registration mode for a while now, given how it already has 2 million players, however it’s only been recently made publicly available. You’ll see Farlight Games as the publisher, because that is the global game publishing brand of Lilith Games.

Call of Dragons is a fantasy MMO conquest game taking place in an immense online world. After testing it I get a feeling of a real-time strategy game with fantasy medieval graphics.

You choose one of three factions (Wilderburg, Springwardens and League of Order) and then start fighting others to expand and gather more resources. Each faction has their own heroes and three types of units: magic, cavalry and marksman. The idea is similar with Art of Conquest, so if you played that you’ll understand the gameplay fast.

Here’s what else you can do in Call of Dragons:

Hunt and tame Behemoths: These are giant beasts (Hydras, Thunder Rocs, Dragons) that you can use after you defeat them.

Heal units for free: Wounded units can be healed automatically without consuming resources.

Countless fantastic creatures: Lots of races to play with (noble Elves, mighty Orcs, wily Satyrs, wise Treants, majestic Forest Eagles and otherworldly Celestials) not to mention lots of creatures to fight against. It’s massive.
Powerful heroes: You can get heroes and play with them. Train, upgrade and add skills to make them more powerful.

3D terrain: It’s a 3D game world which makes the visuals very appealing, especially when using flying units.
Expand: Just like with their other game titles, you have to expand your territory by conquering new ones. You can place buildings that need to be upgraded, research technologies, train troops, gather resources and much more.
